They pushed a hacker protection plan for my website as I kept getting SQL injections that would take down my website for days at a time. When I hired an outside programmer to help harden my website against this, he created a log file that recorded and highlighted...

Exact same issue. What they do is actually infect your site with malware then send you warnings to 'upgrade' to remove it. Unbelievable that Bluehost or Godaddy support them...

When I tried to cancel, they then said it was a 3 month minimum or a one time scan for $200. This was NOT what the sales person (Eric) told me. We went over all the possabilities for at least 15 minutes and he finally agreed to clean my site for $75 and that I could...

Or, in my case, a 6--month minimum. Bait and switch here, too. Promised me one thing, when I called a few days later to ask them to clean the site, lo and behold, I didn't hav...

Similar experience and suspicions. I think they are in league with the hosting company. I am moving my sites to a hosting company that does not partner with Sitelock

I purchased the Sitelock basic annual plan for $19.99/year through Bluehost on a new website ... it was a last minute "add on" to my hosting plan, so I thought it would be good idea. Three months later I receive an email that my website was infected with malware and I...

Signed up for Sitelock two days ago, now received a call saying that my site had experienced a 'sophisticated ***'. Told the scan only scans a portion of my site, every image is classed as one page. Was asked to pay $150 a month for a firewall and full scan. Told this...

I can't help but wonder if that "hacker that was firmly entrenched in the site" was Sitelock's own hacker or backdoor file or what. I have had a terrible experience with them...

Sitelock.com is a fraud. They cancelled my account in May 2013 and billed my card for next 7 months. When I contacted them, no one answered me properly and asked its your fault you did not lookup your credit card monthly billing. I forwarded they all proof regarding...

Dont buy from SiteLock! I have not had an issue with any sort of blocking on any of my website for over 6 years and last week on the suggestion of Netfirms I bought the Premium package from Site lock because Netfirms told me that this would be the plan that finds the...
